We are happy to share with you that San Academy Kamakoti nagar received the ‘Excellence Award for Student Engagement Programs’ at the K-12 Awards function on 16th October, organized by Eldrok India held at ITC Grand Chola. The award is a testimony of the efforts invested by the staff and reaffirms their commitment towards the School's mission of delivering quality education. Our sincere thanks to all parents for your continued effort in help us perform better.

The British Council International School Award (ISA) is a benchmarking scheme that accredits schools as having an outstanding level of support for Nurturing global citizenship in young people and Enriching teaching and learning. We feel glad and proud for being associated with the British Council. Our journey into ISA had been enriching and enabled us to explore the teaching-learning patterns of various other countries. Various curriculum activities were undertaken during the session. These activities unfolded new and exciting activities to the students. These activities made the children understand various concepts that are prevailing in the world and also gave them an exposure to rich learning experiences that helped them to extend their horizons beyond the textbook. The students were happy to share their customs and traditions with their International counterparts. Collaborative curriculum projects with partner schools were a valuable learning opportunity for all. It is a pleasure to announce that we are the proud recipient of the ‘International School Award for 2019 – 2022’. This was in response to the features of the school which included the award-winning initiatives throughout the year by concerned teachers. The award was collected by our Principal Mrs. Ganga Natarajan on 29th November 2019. Our appreciation for the dedication shown by Mrs. Premalatha in compiling the entire activity into a well-documented dossier

Constructive family time is on the decline with the increase in the gadgets used by children and parents. To encourage familial values and to give confidence in parents to raise healthy, happy, confident and responsible children Parent Circle were on a mission to initiate the cause. It is true that when the parents bond with their children, it becomes a key in installing a sense of security in the children aa they are loved and understood. San Academy KKN joined the drive and requested the parents to spend an hour with their little ones on Children's Day without any gadgets and doing their personal work. We received certificate of appreciation for our effort.

The youth of today are the citizens of tomorrow. Keeping this is mind Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports were on a campaign to spread awareness of keeping fit in the youngsters' mind. What better way that to contact the schools where our youth most of their day? The Government of India organization made enquiries and found our school as one which followed healthy practices. It is indeed a great honour to share.
