Fly a kite day started with great enthusiasm. Our tiny tots decorated colourful kites and learned to fly their kites. They also learned about various things that fly in the sky. Children enacted like birds. They also enjoyed playing with paper rockets and helicopter
Spring is the beginning of experiencing jubilation of welcoming the arrival of new season. Teachers organised Hello Spring day for SR.KG students. Children enthusiastically participated in spring season related activities. Teachers briefed the students about the importance of spring season and the various spring festivals celebrated across the world. Children experienced the real set up of the Spring festivals such as Holi, Songkran, Cherry blossom festival, Semana Santa, Tulip time, Marzanna, Las fallas, Sechselauten, Baisakhi, Magh Bihu and Ugadi.
Teachers organised Magical seasons day for JR.KG students. Children enthusiastically participated in various fun filled seasonal games such as Beat the heat, Build a snowman, Launch the paper boats, Flower pot and Pick the autumn leaves. Children experienced summer, winter, monsoon, autumn and spring through seasonal activities and danced to the tunes of seasonal music. Children also learned about the importance of the various seasons and seasonal clothing.
Show and tell is a fun way to help the children to build communication skills that will serve as a solid foundation for future learning. Nursery students enthusiastically participated in the Show & Tell activity based on the topic – Winged Wisdom. They brought theme related props, supportive materials, charts and placards of flamingo, parrot, owl, nightingale, woodpecker, peacock, duck, butterfly, honeybee, pelican, fireflies, penguin, ostrich and emu. Our tiny tots spoke with great confidence in front of their peers and teachers. All the students were given appreciation badges for their active participation.
Dance and music play an important role in our culture. Exposing children to music helps them to build motor skills and also practice self-expression.
Nursery students celebrated the boogie woogie day with great enthusiasm. Our tiny tots were dressed up like rock stars. They enjoyed exploring various musical instruments such as drums, guitar, piano, xylophone, maracas and tambourine. It helped them to enhance the sense of hearing. The children also danced to boogie woogie music and various rhythms. They also made beautiful spin drum maracas.
Postman day was organised for the Jr KG students to give them knowledge about the community helper postman. Postman is a useful public worker who delivers all the mail and he is a source of joy to everyone. Wherever he goes, he is a welcome visitor. The children enjoyed vegetable stamping flowers on the postcards using paints and later posted the postcards in a letter box. The teacher explained to the children about the postal system and the communication timeline. The postman gave a brief introduction about his work.The children were excited to mail the postcards to their parents.
Learning about the 5 senses helps children to explore the world around them. Sr KG students had fun filled activities to help them gain a better understanding of sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. For the sense booth day, the teachers arranged five sensory booths.

Honey bees are super important pollinators for flowers, fruits and vegetables. Teachersorganised Busy Bee Day for Junior KG students. Children learned about the work of a busy honey bee and the collection of honey in the beehive. They played games such as Honey Hunt and Buzzing Bees. Children danced like flowers and honey bees. They also learned about themedical usage of honey. Children enjoyed decorating honey bee finger puppets.
Teachers organised San Chef Day to give hands on experience to cook without fire. The main objective of the event was to inculcate healthy eating habits. Teachers taught the children to prepare fruit salad and bhelpuri. Our tiny tots wore chef hats and they took turns to mix their favourite ingredients to make a healthy snack. They also enjoyed decorating take home oven gloves.
National science Day is celebrated every year to commemorate discovery of the ‘Raman effect’, which led to Indian scientist Sir C.V. Raman winning the noble prize in Physics in 1930. Students dressed up as scientist and spoke about various scientists and their inventions. Children enjoyed the science experiments demonstrated by the teachers such as Cloud experiment, atmospheric pressure experiments, and egg & vinegar experiments. These experiments helped to encourage curiosity, reasoning skills and developing an inquisitive mind.
Shopping role-play stimulates imagination and creativity in children. It also boosts confidence in speaking in front of everyone and to interact, express and understand their emotions. Teachers organised Shopping Spree day for Nursery children to provide a hands on experience about market. Our tiny tots were given shopping baskets and paper money to buy their favourite groceries. Market set up was arranged by the teachers to engage them with fun filled session. Students took turns enacting as customers and shopkeeper. Children enjoyed filling their baskets with unlimited fruits, vegetables and milk cartons.
