The students of San Academy Tambaram, are at it again, they are buzzing with an array of activities. This time it is sports and we take pride to host our first Annual Sports Meet for San Academy Tambaram. “Celebrating Health” was a unique theme chosen to inculcate physical and mental growth in children. The event was indeed a plethora of sports and took the center stage, students took their best foot forward to take the annual Sports day to the next level. Filled with oodles of power, self-confidence and winning spirit students of San Academy Tambaram were all set to play the game and never give up.

The event started with theme introduction, followed by flag hoisting, march past and theme-based parade by our tiny tots. As the students of San Academy Tambaram were all geared up to ignite the passion of sporting spirit, the prestigious Olympic torch relay was initiated by our sports captain Miss Ritika B.N, followed by Sauparnika, Barath,Adithya,Vishesh and Divya in the line of order, they took turns to hold the torch and finished the relay by lighting the Olympic fire. Thereafter, oath taking ceremony was conducted with full vim and vigor. To get the ball rolling, the day evolved into a state of elation when our honorable Director Ms. Archana R declared the first annual meet of San Academy Tambaram branch open.

Finally, the cherry on the cake, it was time for the most exciting events for the day to commence. From Tiny Tots to Jovial Junior scholars the young guns of San Academy Tambaram left no stone unturned. Series of titillating, interesting and impelling game events were organized that included drill, track events and 400 mtrs relay. Exciting events like dumbbells collecting, gym ball also added a unique panache and flair. To sprinkle in some variety Silambam, Aerobics and Karate were also performed by our students. There mesmerizing performance was indeed a treat to our eyes. Last but not the least, events were organized for parents to boost their energy levels.

As the curtains fall, students of San Academy Tambaram, gathered humongous accolades for their dedication and brilliant performance. To sum it up, all the winners were awarded for their accomplishment.
