Sports day 12 AUG 2023-KG- CLASS II

San Academy Velachery - Sports Day- the first Show for classes Nursery to Class II was conducted on 12 August 2023 Morning from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm at YMCA Nandanam, Chennai. The Theme for the Year was “Disney”. Our Special chief guest Master Dursha Ravirajj who is a State Level Athletic Champion honored the Sports day. She is 7 years old studying in Aachi Global School, Anna nagar Chennai. She is a proud recipient of 13 Individual trophy for Athletics, 39 Gold Medal, 3 Silver, and 5 Bronze in Sports like running, cycling and skating throughout the year 2021 to 2023. She has made a record by completing 2 km running in 12 minutes at the age of six.

SPORTS DAY: 28 JAN 2024 – CLASS III - VIII

On 28 th January, 2024 San Academy organized its 13th Annual sports meet at YMCA Nandhanam.

The day kicked off with great enthusiasm and excitement. Students, teachers and parents gathered at the YMCA ground to witness the day filled with fierce competition, camaraderie and sportsmanship.

Sports day 2023-2024

Sports day 2022-2023

Every year sports day is celebrated with a high level of enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The students representing the four houses - Akash, Agni, Prithvi and Vayu participate with great interest to exhibit their true sportsmanship and participation. Sports plays a major part in the overall development of the child. Challenges are a part of life. It helps us to push our boundaries, so our Sports day theme for this year was challenging games and it was conducted on Aug 7th 2022. Students took up the challenges and came out in flying colours. The Chief Guest of the day was Ms.Malathi Raja, a differently abled Basket Ball player who inspired the young minds by her achievements in Sports despite her physical challenges.
